I just try to concentrate on content for my website, and my make money at home blog. I dont worry abou Google page rank so much, it will come eventually. Build up some quality backlinks, and add content to your website, or blog frequently and Google will reward you. Great topic!

Google does not update pageranks like before every 3 months considering the last update was 4 months ago,now generally updates individual sites, to be honest no one knows whats going on with pagerank update anymore

Roumor has it the Google PR update should be rolling out across the web from today 01 oct 09 right through to the end of the month.
